Goth frapps, anyone?
This morning, Starbucks announced a brand new Frappuccino flavor available starting today.

Dubbed the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino, this dark chocolate and mint-flavored beverage is made with extra dark cocoa + mint crystals + coffee + milk + and a middle layer of whipped cream.
Much like the recently popular (and now discontinued) Unicorn Frappuccino, the new drink taps into the social trend of the moment — in this case, foods as dark as your soul. According to a Starbucks spokesperson, the beverage is available starting today, May 2 at a majority of Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada.
The drink sounded suspiciously similar to the discontinued Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino 🤔, and as your resident food truthers, we knew we had to investigate. So we headed to our local Starbucks to check it out.

After we ordered, the two frapps took a bit longer than usual to make — probably because we came on the morning of the beverage's release and the baristas were still getting used to the new recipe.
