When you're going through an awful time, feeding yourself can be a huge chore.
If you're grieving, recovering from trauma, or taking care of someone who is ill, you may find yourself eating a ton of fast food or surviving on hospital vending machine snacks; not having the motivation to cook and then letting fresh groceries go bad; or losing your appetite and simply not eating at all.
