Common sense is not that common these days.
Another case of blackface made it to my Instagram dicovery page and I rolled my eyes so hard I even got a chance to meditate for a bit.
Bravo
Yup, it's been ZERO days since a beauty blogger/makeup artist did blackface!
Televisa
Russian makeup artist @notcatart uploaded a video where he goes from "light to dark" because he "loves skin of all colors."
People were quick to drag him for it, but he seemed to think he wasn't doing anything wrong. He uploaded another image with the caption "I will post it again and again... love u guys ❤️." He did disable comments on both the video and the picture, though.
As of right now, the post is still up, and if his bio is any indication, it will probably stay up. He doesn't care if you don't like him. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Let's hope that in 2018 we don't see any more makeup artists or beauty bloggers doing blackface because they "didn't know" it was offensive. Is that too much to ask?
