I CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH.
As you may know, Reese's Pieces are already a controversial candy, because people cannot agree on the pronunciation.
For the record, it rhymes with "pieces", not "CiCi's".

They share a name with the world's greatest ~CHOCOLATE~ candy, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so... Why? WHY???
The candies were invented FIFTY YEARS apart (Peanut Butter Cups in 1928 and Pieces in 1978). Why on EARTH would they share a name if they don't share one of the TWO main ingredients??? And HOW are Reese's Pieces so delicious without chocolate???

More importantly, how have I never noticed this before?
Did I just assume the candy coating was made of chocolate? I guess so.
