Gal just gave an in-depth interview to Entertainment Weekly, where she was asked about James Cameron's controversial Wonder Woman comments from last year — and her response is the perfect blend of sassy 'n classy.

All of the self-congratulatory back-patting Hollywood’s been doing over Wonder Woman has been so misguided. She’s an objectified icon, and it’s just male Hollywood doing the same old thing! I’m not saying I didn’t like the movie but, to me, it’s a step backwards.

He also claimed that one of his own franchises, The Terminator, had a better feminist icon in the character of Sarah Connor.

His comments were met with a lot of anger, and the film's director, Patty Jenkins, issued a response to Cameron on Twitter. But Gal Gadot herself didn't respond at the time, and now she's finally explaining why.
