“I didn’t take my daughter there for them to alter the way she looks because she is absolutely beautiful the way she is.”
One mom says a Washington state daycare center waxed her 2-year-old daughter's eyebrows without permission.

Alyssa Salgado's story has been shared over 24-thousand times on Facebook. She told BuzzFeed, "I was mad and very upset. I was also hurt. It was a mix of different emotions. It made me feel as though I failed to protect my daughter because I wasn't there. What if she she was calling out for me hurting and crying?"
When Salgado picked up her daughter Lilayiah from daycare earlier this month, she said she noticed a "red mark in between her eyebrows." At first, she thought it was a scratch, but then she realized her toddler's eyebrows had been waxed.

Salgado said she is giving a voice to her daughter who doesn't have one yet. "They had no right to hurt her the way they did."

Salgado also noticed that Lilayiah's arm had been scratched.
Salgado said, "The scratches weren't there before I dropped her off."
