You just opened a bag of fresh-baked Gardetto's. Congrats, I'm jealous.
I like to just stick my face in the bag and breathe in the intoxicating aroma.
As you can see from the scientific study above, the best Gardetto's are the little brown discs, officially known as "rye chips" but called by various regional nicknames.
For some reason my middle school girlfriend called them "poop browns" and so I will forever call them "poop browns." Don't get mad at me Gardetto's. I say "poop browns" with love and respect for the product. I'm eating them right now.
AND YES, I know these things also exist in Chex Mix.
They're great in Chex Mix too. Wherever they reside, these little brown rounds are the star of the show.
